Our Story

Luxury Modesty was born from a simple love for creating modest clothing. It began in high school, when I was gifted money for my first sewing machine. I spent countless hours teaching myself how to sew, driven by the lack of modest yet stylish options growing up in the U.S. What started as a hobby — making clothes for myself, family, and friends — slowly became a calling.

Though I pursued a career in engineering, fashion design was always part of me. I still remember the joy of showcasing my early designs at my university’s African Student Union fashion show — a moment that reminded me how much I loved bringing ideas to life.

During the pandemic, I took a leap of faith and launched Luxury Modesty. I planned my first photoshoot and introduced my designs to the world. As life picked up again, I took pauses, but fashion always found its way back to me.

About a year ago, I stepped back intentionally to reflect on what I truly wanted this brand to be. I realized Luxury Modesty isn’t just about clothing — it’s about creating timeless, versatile pieces for women who value modesty, quality, and effortless elegance.

As a Muslim woman, modesty inspires everything I design — but these pieces are made for every woman who wants to feel confident, refined, and true to herself. Each collection is thoughtfully curated or hand-crafted with care, using quality fabrics and skilled artisans.
